I'm sorry for the confusing, this language was on our website in late 2001 (over 6 years ago as of 2008) and means that once your purchase the product, it's yours forever. There are no subscriptions or monthly fees. You can think of it as buying any kind of tangible good, like a bicycle, laptop, ipod, etc. Today this is exactly the same license we sell, however we've put a great deal of work into explaining it better.
Every purchase includes 1 (one) free year from the date-of-purchase to our Download-Locker service. This service includes premium support, resends of your registration code, downloads of the latest version, etc.
You can view the status of your Download-Locker from the Members Only section of our website. If it has expired, you will be given a special code that will renew the status at a significant discount, starting at 50%.
