This program has dumped some kind of file on my desktop
that I cannot delete. It got there when I merely clicked the link to upgrade when I launched BPFTP. Please tell me how to remove this annoying file from my desktop. The file name is: index.html_file=bpftpclient_install.exe The damn thing will not delete no matter what I do. I tried opening it, and it performed some kind of illegal operation that Windows XP shut down. What should I do? Also, my web host is having some kind of issue that required me to change my FTP user to an SFTP user. I don't know how to make the switch in BPFTP, and now I'm not able to log into my own FTP server. What do I need to change in the site manager in order to be able to log into my SFTP account? I'm really frustrated here. Please help. Jason |

I would recommend you open a command-prompt and type:
Code:
If that doesn't work, try: Code:
if that doesn't work, check your HD for Errors using chkdsk: Code:
As of May 2008, BPFTP Client does not currently support Secure-FTP. We will have a release shortly which does, make sure you are on the notification list for an update via email as soon as it's available: Update Notification: http://bpftp.com/products/bpftpclient/windows/download
